Glob of Ectoplasm

Glob of Ectoplasm is a rare crafting material in the original Guild Wars. Players commonly shorten its name to Ecto, Ectos or simply “e.” It is best known as one of the main materials required for prestigious equipment, including Obsidian armor and Chaos Gloves.

Ectos also play an important role in the Guild Wars player economy. Players frequently use them as an alternative currency when trading valuable weapons, miniatures, upgrades and other collectible items that may be inconvenient to price entirely in platinum.

Before ordering, confirm that you need Ectos for Guild Wars 1 rather than Guild Wars 2, as the two games use separate items and economies. If you are preparing for a specific armor set or trade, check your existing materials and the complete crafting requirements first.
